It feels like Monday :/

Today has already been one of those days.

I'm not really sure how it's possible to wake up AHEAD of schedule and still not leave the house in time for the bus. It was like 15 minutes of my life just poofed and disappeared. Sebastians bus picks him up at 8:32. At 8:30 I looked at the clock, realized we weren't going to make it, and faced the grim fact that I was going to have to get out of my sweats and slippers and drive him to school. Then, for some stupid reason, I thought that school started at 9, and I just happened to walk by the refrigerator and see the school schedule and realized that it started at 8:45.

At 8:40, we get into the car and leave the house, get down to the end of the road, and find that the asstards that are working on a house decide to park a tractor, a dump truck, and their personal trucks along the side of our incredibly narrow road. I don't know why this was a suprise to me since it's been going on a while, and I don't know why they continue to do it since they essentially block the town trucks and UPS/FedEx etc from getting down the street.

Then I have Sebastian in the back seat, wailing miserably about how he's going to have to get a late pass and that it was all my fault. Over and over he said: "I can't believe this is happening to me!" Good grief. Was the first time ever that I can say that I was thrilled to drop him off at school.

On a happy note, the election is over. They were both sneaky little weasels so I figure we were screwed either way, and in the end, Corzine won. The only good thing about this is that the commercials are over.

I hadn't put any pictures of my recent knitting projects up in quite a while, so I figured today I would do that. With the holidays coming up, most of what I've been doing have been gifts, so if you plan on getting a package from me this year, you better just close your eyes now!!

Sadly, my CD drive on my main system decided that it likes the CD that's currently inside it, so it refused to open. I have to wait for Phil to get home from work so he can beat the crap out of it, so in the meantime, I was forced to search for my USB cable for my camera, because for some reason, in my mind, digging around for 15 minutes for some stupid cord was easier than loading the disk on another system and transferring them through the network. Hey, I'm allowed to be a dipshit before I've had my second cup of coffee!

Sebastian is out of school for the next two days and the weekend. Judging by how today has gone so far, that's probably a really good thing. Heh.
