OMG. WTF is this?

I just got this in my e-mail from a friend. I'm still trying to figure out what the Hell it is, and why she sent it to me.

I sincerely hope that she isn't wanting me to try to make one of these, because you know, I'm a pretty open minded person, but this is about the ugliest thing I have ever seen. It kind of looks like that knitting project I had a while back that my cats got a hold of. I mean, even look at the expression on the models says "omg, help me."

The idea that it is even up on a runway somewhere gives me hope that someone, somewhere, someday, will want to be caught dead in something I have made. There is hope!

On another note, it's not Friday yet. Technically, with Monday being a holiday, and with Sebastian being home sick from school on Tuesday, I had a short week, so I'm trying to figure out why it feels like the longest week ever.

I'm actually feeling pretty good for the first time in a couple months. Let me just say for the record that kidney stones are the suck...especially kidney stones that go for months and through three different doctors before you end up in the emergency room and finally get a good diagnosis. I think the worst part about it was going all that time not knowing, imagining that I had some rare, deadly disease, and doing a really nice job of redecorating my kidney, which is just starting to get back to doing what it's supposed to do without driving me nuts.

I did a lot of research on the internet about the pesky things. Seems that a lot of people compare the pain of passing a kidney stone to that of the pain of delivering a baby. Having done both now, I can definitely say that passing a large kidney stone is definitely not a picnic, but I wouldn't dare compare it to labor. Those who compare the two need to pee a watermelon out, and then get back to me.

So, now that I'm back on my feet, I'm left to survey the damage of a couple months of not feeling up to doing much of anything around the house, and it ain't pretty. It's probably going to take me all summer just to get caught up to the point where I don't have to wade through Mt. Laundry just to get to my bed.

At least I can knit between loads. :)
